Diana Perez
Diana Perez is an experienced Sports and Rehabilitation Physiotherapist with over 28 years of experience in the medical and fitness industries. She holds a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Science from McGill University, specializing in therapeutic exercise prescription and program design. Her advanced areas of expertise include Sports Physiotherapy, Manual Therapy, Back and Neck Rehabilitation, Muscle Energy Techniques, and Myofascial Release. She has also received formal training in wellness, naturopathy, Ayurvedic medicine, and acupuncture.
Diana is nationally certified as a Sports Physiotherapist and has provided medical and rehabilitation services to athletes at the provincial, national, and professional levels. Throughout her career, she has worked with professional organizations such as the Montreal Supra and Montreal Impact Soccer Clubs, as well as several Canadian National Teams, including Men’s and Women’s Gymnastics, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, and Mogul Skiing.
Her extensive sports experience has taken her to numerous international competitions. Diana has served as a team therapist at several World Championships and World Cup events, including the 1995 World Cup Soccer Championships, the 2002, 2003, and 2005 World Gymnastics Championships, and World Cup Mogul Ski events from 2003 to 2005. She has also been a member of various Canadian medical teams, including those supporting athletes at the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games, the 2002 Commonwealth Games, multiple Maccabiah Games, and numerous Canada Winter and Summer Games.
In addition to physiotherapy, Diana has a strong background in yoga and movement therapy. She has practiced yoga for over 15 years and has taught in the Montreal area since 2004. Her practice has been influenced by Hatha, Ashtanga, Moksha, and Anusara yoga. She has completed two yoga teacher training certifications, including RYA 200-hour training, and has pursued additional education in Yoga Alignment, Yoga Therapy, and Yin Yoga.
Diana combines her extensive clinical experience, sports rehabilitation expertise, therapeutic exercise knowledge, and movement-based approach to provide comprehensive and individualized care for patients and athletes of all levels.
