About David Savoca

I am a two-time graduate of McGill University, receiving both a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Honours) and a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. Since 2010 I’ve been a proud member of “L’Ordre Professionnel de la Physiothérapie du Québec.”

Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, I worked at McGill University as a researcher in the field of biomechanics and have received several acknowledgements for my work such as those found in the Journal of Electromyography and Kinesiology. I’ve lectured at the graduate level, and have been part of the interviewing process for future physiotherapy students.

As a physiotherapist I have taken many post-graduate courses to better specialize in peripheral manipulations, lumbar dysfunctions (including McKenzie Technique), vertigo, headaches, and TMJ (jaw) dysfunctions.

I am certified to perform Dry Needling during my treatments (a very effective technique for muscle pains and tensions).

I have also completed the TPI certification course offered by the Titleist Performance Institute, which allows me to efficiently screen a golfer’s biomechanics. This screening will help golfers prevent injury and improve their performance.

My excellent understanding of human anatomy and biomechanics is what allows me to develop effective treatment interventions for a wide variety of clients.
